Terms & Conditions
Last updated 17 September 2026 · Effective 17 September 2026
The short version. This site is a free matching service, not a debt relief program. We are paid by the companies we refer you to. We do not promise any result, we cannot guarantee a creditor will settle anything, and nothing here is legal, tax, or financial advice. Read the provider's own agreement before you sign or pay anything.
Accepting these terms
These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and Bionic Holdings, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company doing business as US Balance Relief ("we", "us"), covering your use of usbalancerelief.org (the "Site"). By using the Site or submitting the assessment, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Site.
What this service is — and is not
The Site asks you four questions and, based on your answers, either refers you to one or more independent debt relief providers or shows you information about other options. That referral, and the information on these pages, is the entire service. It is free to you.
We are not, and we do not act as:
- a lender or a creditor
- a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice
- a credit repair organization
- a credit counseling agency
- a debt settlement, debt management, or debt negotiation provider
- a tax advisor, accountant, or financial advisor
We do not negotiate with your creditors, hold your money, or enroll you in anything. Any program you join is a separate agreement between you and that provider, on their terms, and we are not a party to it.
The assessment result is not an approval, a denial, an offer, or a determination that you qualify for anything. It is a rough screen based only on what you typed. Whether a provider will work with you is entirely their decision.
How we are paid
We are paid by the debt relief providers we refer you to — typically a fee per referral or per phone call, and in some cases a fee if you enroll. You pay us nothing. This means we have a financial interest in referring you, and the providers listed to you are those we have arrangements with, not the result of a survey of the whole market. We think you should know that before you take a call, and weigh what you are told accordingly.
No guarantee of results
We make no promise, and no provider can honestly promise, that:
- any creditor will settle, reduce, or renegotiate any balance — creditors are under no obligation to do so, and some never do
- your debt will be reduced by any particular amount or percentage
- any program will finish in any particular time
- you will be accepted by any provider, or that a provider operates in your state
Any figures, ranges, or timelines you see anywhere are illustrative only. Individual results vary, and yours will depend on your creditors, your balances, your state, and whether you keep up with the program.
Risks you should understand
Debt resolution is not free of consequences. Before enrolling in anything, understand that:
- Most approaches involve falling behind on accounts before a creditor will negotiate, which will likely damage your credit.
- Balances can keep growing with interest, late fees, and penalties while you wait for a settlement.
- Creditors may continue collection activity and may sue you.
- Debt that is forgiven may be reported to the IRS as taxable income to you.
- Programs are not available in every state, and terms differ by state.
- Free nonprofit credit counseling is available as an alternative, through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling at nfcc.org or (800) 388-2227.
Under the Federal Trade Commission's Telemarketing Sales Rule, a for-profit debt relief company may not collect a fee from you until it has settled or renegotiated at least one of your debts and you have made a payment under that new agreement. If anyone asks you for money before that, that is a reason to stop and reconsider.
Your obligations
When you use the Site, you agree that:
- the information you give is accurate, and the phone number and email are yours to give
- you are submitting for yourself, not on behalf of someone else without their permission
- you will not submit automated, repeated, or deliberately false entries, scrape the Site, or try to interfere with it
We may refuse service, block access, or delete submissions at our discretion.
Consent to be contacted
The wording displayed on the form at the moment you submit sets out what you are agreeing to, including contact by automated dialing system, prerecorded message, or text at the number you provide. That consent is not a condition of purchasing anything, message and data rates may apply, and you can withdraw it at any time. How to withdraw it, and what we store as proof of it, are described in our Privacy Policy.
Third parties and outside links
Debt relief providers, counseling agencies, and any other organizations named or linked on the Site are independent of us. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their services, their advice, their fees, or how they handle your information. Organizations we name as public resources — such as the NFCC or the FTC — are listed for your benefit and are not our partners and have not endorsed us. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience only.
Our content
The text, design, and code of the Site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read and print pages for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, or use them commercially without our written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete, current, or applicable to your situation. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, or damage to your credit, arising out of your use of the Site or any dealing with a provider we referred you to. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Some states do not allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these terms, or your submission of information that was not yours to give.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do, and continuing to use the Site after that means you accept the revised terms.
